The iCAT 3D Cone Beam Scanner System is a cutting-edge alternative to the traditional CT scan and an incredible improvement on the traditional X-ray.
First and foremost, it dramatically decreases the amount of patient exposure to radiation. As its name implies, 3-D imaging also provides more accuracy and efficiency in monitoring growth and diagnosing problems. The machine works by taking a series of X-ray "slices" and then stitching the images together with a powerful computer program. The Cone Beam CT digital images capture a thorough view the entire mouth, jaw and skull cavity from every angle. These clear images allows us to more precisely diagnose and treat your dental condition.
