Meet Dr. Sommerville
Dr. Sommerville has spent his career deepening his knowledge of implants, endodontics, and digital crowns. He loves the variety of oral health and cosmetic care he gets to provide, and finds real joy in the confidence a new smile brings his patients.
Doctor Bio
Dr. Brett Sommerville, DMD
Dr. Sommerville was raised in South Jordan, Utah where he attended Bingham High School. In fact, he grew up just about a mile from our office. He received a scholarship to play basketball at a junior college in Wyoming. Dr. Sommerville then served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Long Beach, California where he learned to speak Spanish. After returning from his mission, he married his high school sweetheart and finished his scholarship in Wyoming. Dr. Sommerville received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah. He then attended dental school at Roseman University of Health Sciences, College of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2018. After graduation, he started his career as an associate with Spring Dental in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he spent three years.
Since starting his career, Dr. Sommerville’s continuing education has focused on implants, endodontics, and digital crowns. What he loves most about general dentistry is having the ability to treat a broad range of pathology to help patients with their oral health and cosmetic needs. As a local dentist, he loves to see people enjoy newfound self-confidence when they are happy with their smile.
He and his wife Annika have two girls and two boys.
